The candlesnuffer, handle wound with silver wire and semiprecious stone chips, was a gift.

The imari offering bowl holds clementines, the tiny Satsuma vase I got from my mom holds incense sticks. The well-used sterling chalice was found on ebay--even has my initial engraved on the foot. Standing in for my still-missing athames is my miniature Swiss Army knife.

My husband painted the figure of the tarot hermit, the silver borders of the dark blue robe inscribed with runic-looking characters. He paid special attention to the facial features, hair, and beard, and drifted iridescent glitter "magic" up his full sleeves and into the folds of his clothing and strands of his beard.
